our story

At the entrance of Daisetsuzan, we discovered an abandoned gas station buried in snow. Unlike typical commercial sites, repurposing former gas station properties poses challenges nationwide due to difficulties in land reuse for other businesses. In response, we at Gypsy Fire Stream, a comprehensive outdoor production company, have committed to regenerating the gas station in Kamikawa Town, Hokkaido, aiming to enhance the town's landscape and establish a new landmark. In our café, we prioritize local production for local consumption by using ingredients sourced as much as possible from Kamikawa Town, striving to offer high-quality street food. Our gift shop features gear for your upcoming adventures and original brands inspired by Daisetsuzan National Park. The BBQ space serves as a social hub where locals and visitors can gather, enjoy our signature BBQ menu, and foster community interaction. As a multifaceted facility, we also provide information to visitors of Sounkyo and Daisetsuzan National Park. Our goal is to create Japan's premier drive-in within the nation's most open and innovative town. We warmly invite you to visit the newly reborn BIG SNOW DRIVE-in.
